I am an enthusiastic amateur photographer, and I have been taking photos since my pre-teen years. My avatar was my very first camera. My first SLR was a Miranda G; I called it "the poor man's Nikon F" since it had shared many features found on the F (interchangeable focusing screens and viewfinders, etc.). Plus it had a very ingenious lens mount that had both bayonet lugs and screw threads, so you could mount almost any lens. My first Nikons were a Nikkormat and an FE. I now use a D7200 and a D810. My favorite subject has always been nature macrophotography.
