Occupaion: Retired Interests: Photography, sports cars Biography: I've been involved with photography since the 1960s. While stationed in Germany with the US Army, I had access to a darkroom and began processing my own images. I took a photo course with the School of Modern Photography.
After my military discharge in 1969, I went to work as a mechanic at United Airlines in the San Francisco maintenance facility. Family and work pretty much pushed my photographic aspirations aside for a number of years.
While working at UAL, I got involved with the union and became the editor of the unions monthly newspaper, Tradewinds. Part of that job included photographing events and individuals. Shortly after my retirement in 2002, I discovered the wonderful world of digital photography and relapsed into my addiction to the medium.
I shoot events regularly and have developed an interest in portrait photography as part of the expansion my horizons. You can see examples my work at
