My Dad gave me my first 35mm camera when I was a Jr. in H.S.; his old Agfa Karat Rangefinder he bought when he was in the Navy. I trekked that little gem hundreds of miles in the Boy Scouts, as well as a trip to Europe. For graduation I got my first Canon an AE-1, I sold two surfboards to buy my first telephoto, the world was so much clearer back then in B&W! I am the "Son of a Son of a Sailor", therefore I joined the U.S. Navy to do my part, and see the world while I was at it. It was there where I met my wife and best friend of 28yrs. (She was an AMH). Fast forward to the present day. When the Drs made me retire, the Mrs. told me to get a hobby or she was going to use me as fertilizer in the garden! HAving been through several point and shoots, and a bridge or two, I finally made the jump into the world of DSLR. When I did it, I decided to do it right, so I could hopefully make a little extra money on the side. I went with a Canon T3i (I can always upgrade to a full frame), and for PP, I entered the world of Apple with a MacBook Pro and LR4 plus PSE10.
