The last two photographs are a paper wasp, polistes sp. maybe polistes exclamans. the first one is not a bee wolf, but a Potter wasp, possibly Monobia quadridens, although it looks more like Pseudodynerus quadrisectus, but hard to tell without a top view. if you want more specific IDs, I suggest submitting images to http://bugguide.net/node/view/6/bgimage . You have to join (free), and leave an e-mail address, so they can reply to you.
Thanks for the info. I will check out BugGuide.net

#3 in my opinion is sensational. A great picture. Looking at it from so close makes him look robotic, like something out of a movie. I think it's something about his powerful looking shape and he looks like he's wearing armour. (I don't mean to detract in any way from the nature of the shot).

Thank You

It is the weed that is smart, not the caterpillar.

This caterpillar can't be too 'smart' because you've captured it rather handily-nice shots!

Looks like you have shots of a Haploa caterpillar, more specifically called "The Neighbor" (Haploa contigua), found in open areas, wetlands and woodlands. The yellow lateral bands are especially prominent in young overwintering caterpillars.
Good shots, nicely done.
