aperture "F" priority controls the death of field. the aperture requlates the amounty of light into the camera. the smaller the # the wider the opening on the lens when you let more light in the focus is more on the back ground of a picture

I am a newbie amateur with a with a year old Nikon D3000 that I am just learning how to use. I enjoy photography and the pictures I take look like a newbie.

I enjoy taking pictures and want to become better at for personal usage. I have a tripod that I bought from craigslist and plan to have fun with it over the weekend. I just like taking pictures of the people and beautiful things around me. I look forward to learning and reading your comments.
