Hello Susie,
I was able to purchase a couple of the Norman Power Packs for reasonable prices. I do have an interest in the Norman LH2400 flash heads though. I'd also like to know about the rest of the gear you have. My interest is not immediate so if someone comes along with an offer that is reasonable don't hesitate to sell. Eventually, I will buy though. The Norman flash stuff works absolutely great, if you have an interest in setting up a studio vice just selling stuff.

Do you still have these? What do you want for them (one or both).

Thanks,

Larry

I just got a Gossen Lunapro SBC light meter. Thought I was buying the flashmeter. Not!!! There is a flashmeter attachment for the Gossen Lunapro SBC. If you have it, and don't want the US Mint for it, let me know.

Photoshop has a utility that lets you check number of clicks based upon the last photograph you uploaded.

I read somewhere that 100,000 clicks is a good number to expect a camera to reach. My D70s has about 20,000. I've still got quite a way to go.

It is amazing to me that you have Lightroom and are looking for a RAW image viewer. At the basic level Lightroom is intuitive. As you need more, the documentation with Lightroom will give you more. Do yourself a favor and use what you have, it really is the answer to your problem.

"The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 Book: The Complete Guide for Photographers" is a fantastic book to help you through the tough spots.

It is all the way loose. Doesn't help. Thanks.

My SB-25 works well enough with my Nikon D70s. Trouble comes when I try to remove the flash from the hot shoe. The forward most pin on the SB-25 engages a hole in the hot shoe and virtually refuses to let go. I'm sure I am missing something simple, that this is not a problem for most, but it is for me. Any advice/help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the compliment. I wish it were mine. It is a pretty typical home on Martha's Vineyard off the coast of Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Typical in the sense that the vast majority of the homes are attractive and very well maintained. I live in FL.

Greetings all. The name is Larry. I've loved photography for about 45 years. I've done a lot of different stuff with my camera, shot weddings, models, lots of flowers and ferry boats and sailboats. I use a Nikon D70s which I really like a lot. Upgrade is in the future but this is fine for now. I retired about 6 years ago after 38 years as a civil servant. I have enrolled in The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. My ultimate goal is a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and I think I'll make it. Life is a lot of things, boring is not one of them.
