I think that any time you can bring back an art form such as B/W film processing and printing you will be not only doing a service to the community BUT also to yourself. I know that after 35 plus years of shooting commercially and personally I do miss the opportunity to go out and practice the Zone system. So yes, go do it you will feel better for it and you will be doing something good for yourself and someone else.

I must have at least 200 plus sunsets shot in 5 bracket series.I thought I would compile them into images using Nik software. I found out that they couldn't been used without having Photoshop,which I don't have.So what would you suggest I do,I have Elements 6, as you can see I'm not big on software.I'm old school Zone system guy
Can anyone suggest how I can get my images to the way I thought they should be?

Question, I am always seeming to wait for the present groupe of cards I own to finish writing my images before the next one is taken. I'm using a Coolpix P7000 and although I am sure that they will catch up I would like to know what I should be looking for in a card to know before buying what the speed it is or how to know how fast a card can transfer image data.Also how I can know which card is the fastest. All my images are in jpeg and max resolution.
