I seldom pass on the opportunity to photograph the moon. I am not sure why. It could be a compulsive disorder. I hope you enjoy.

Nicely timed shot with the plane. Well done!
Took this at the Stuart Air Show!

I have been considering a mirrorless camera. Currently I have a Canon 6D Mark ll, and a Canon 90D. One of those will probably be traded in. Which would you keep and why? Thanks.

I had a Canon 5D MK IV and a Canon 7D MK II. One a full frame and one an APC. I decided to trade in the 5D MK IV and keep the 7D MK II and got the Canon R6. I am not sorry! The R6 is just as robust in built quality and has a much better auto focusing system. The 20 meg sensor does not seem to degrade the images I have taken and processed. I use the 7D MK II for wildlife, birds and such. I am considering getting the 600mm f/11 RF lens to use with the R6 and compare that with the 7D. The price of the 600mm and 800mm f/11 lenses are a bargain, based on many reviews. Good luck. Keep your 90D and go for the Canon R, RP or if you can, the R6!! Good luck.

One of the main benefits of f2.8 is the brighter viewing in the optical viewfinder. Most times we don’t shoot at that aperture for depth of field reasons. I have the Canon 70-200 f4 ver2 and at f4 is as sharp as my f2.8 at f4.

I have used the Canon EX 1.4X II extender on my 100-400mm Canon EF lens and it works well with minimal loss in image quality. Of course, any extender will effect image quality to some degree with the 2X extender not only losing two stops, but also causing some image quality loss.

Update Just heard from Canon Corporate. I initiated a complain about the issue of not supporting my Canoscan 8800f. After a day they contacted me and offered to sell me the Canoscan 9000f MK II for a 50% discount! However, they are currently out of stock, but will advise me when available.
I accepted their offer since buying the "Professional" version of Vuescan is "sale priced" at $99.95.

Tried downloading a free trial, but couldn't figure it out. They have two versions: on sale @$39.95 for basic and $9.95 for professional. But I could not see a free trial version???

I have had the scanner for several years, but used it very little. It looks new!! Vuescan wants $70 for the basic and 99.95 for the pro version which does film and slides as well as documents.

This really sucks... Canon no longer supports the Canoscan 8800f flatbed. I called all the way up to Canon Corporate.... they want to sell me the 9000 f for a "big" 10% discount!! Third party drivers are $99.95 for the full version to do prints, slides ,etc.
Epson, on the other hand still supports all of their scanners with drivers for High Sierra.

Stay away from 42nd Street Camera, NY,NY. Gray market stuff. Also try to "upgrade" you with higher price or with junk you don't need! B & H Photo and Adorama are the best!!! Great prices, service and returns.
