If you get an invitation I don't think they are going to ask you to pay for the gas.
I like that much better. I would not turn down an invitation.
Did you take that photo?
Can you imagine being wealthy enough to afford that yacht? I bet, to him, it's like us spending $1,000. I'd just like to live like that for a week to see what it's like.
I was watching Ashton Kutcher on Jay Leno months ago. He talked about a very rich couple he met with Demi & they invited them to spend the evening on their $300 Million Yacht. He even showed a photo of it. Shortly thereafter I was in the Dominican Republic, down near the water taking photos. Would you believe it... there was the yacht.
The shutter speed went from about 50 to 100 depending on where in the arena I was focusing. The reason these look so good is that they are small on your screen. When I blow them up to 100% you can see much more blur, BUT I still think they look good.
I shoot a lot with my Canon 28-135 IS. It's a great lens. In my experience I have found that Tamron & Sigma do not focus as fast as Canon. I shoot with Canon 1D Mark III.
Thanks for the comments and I am happy to be here. This looks like a very nice place to visit on a regular basis.
I understand and actually agree with you. I would have cropped the other 2 differently as well. The reason they are cropped this way is that I am using them as screen savers.
No Problem. I'm not that sensitive. I did try a few different contrasts, etc. but went for a little softer look. I would really like some constructive critism if you have any. I really need to become a better photographer.
I am glad that you think they are good shots. I was really trying to do a good job. It's hard hand holding, panning and zooming when I was shooting at a low shutter speed.
I think that the bolder look is a little harsh. Please look at the originals again.

Hi, I'm Funfotos (Alan). I just a regular guy with a good camera. I have the Canon 1D Mark III. It's interesting to see the comments and help that you offer. I think that's great. I have attached a few photos. I took them this past Saturday at the in-door Rodeo. Iso was about 1200 but could not get the shutter past 100. I was using a Canon 70-300mm IS 4-5.6 lens. Please comment.
