If you delete a picture then Picasa does not consider this a duplicate.

Yes - I am comparing her JPEG to my RAW. She has the newest Rebel. I also took some with my 5D mark ll and she is still bigger!! How do I set quality on CS5?

I am shooting on the largest RAW setting. It is crazy!!

Went to shoot (with camera) at the shelter with a friend. She used a Rebel and a 70 - 300 lens. I shot with a 50D and a 24-105 L lens. I did all the editing of the photos and discovered that her pictures had more MB's than mine did. She shot on L large and I shot in RAW. When I cropped, mine dropped to below 2.5 MB's and hers hardly changed. Question is why? I assumed that by shooting RAW my files would be larger? Am I wrong? Went today with my 5D Mark ll and shot with 2.8 70 - 200 on Large and my files where still not as large as hers to begin with.
Am I confused? Yes!

These were taken through a pine tree and an oak tree.

David - I feel the same way. I guess I won't worry about whether I am pro or not. Just enjoy what I do and get paid too!!

I have been entering monthly print competitions since 2003 and few things have been more helpful than critiques by people who don't care if they bruise my ego.

I know there has been a lot of discussion on the topic of being a professional photographer. I have not read all of the discussions and this question may have been discussed. If so, I apologize for bringing it up again.

What are your qualifications for being a professional photographer?
I have seen a lot about what is NOT but not much about what IS.
