Hi all! Looking for suggestions on a lightweight point and shoot camera for an upcoming month long backpacking trip. I have a Nikon D7000 that I typically use for landscape photography, but don't want to carry the extra weight with lenses, etc. nor do I want to damage my nice camera. Does anyone have experience with the Canon Powershot SX530 HS? At about $250, I won't have to worry if it gets dropped over the side of a mountain or gets soaked in a deluge. It will be used primarily for landscape shots (obviously) and maybe some wildlife if I'm lucky. If you have other suggestions in the same price range, I would love to hear them. Also, some photo samples from some of these less expensive point and shoot cameras would be awesome! Thanks in advance for your time.
