If you were exposed to Agent Orange be checked for Diabetes. Thousands of vets now are diabetic (including myself) due to their exposure while in Nam.

Wow, Nikon lens with the gold ring. Mucho peso's. Does the gold ring on the Sigma count?

BBF for me on my Nikon. No more accidently pushing in the forward button 1/2 way and accidently taking a photo.

My wife uses a Nikon Coolpix camera. Turn it on, adjust the zoom to the desired focal length and take the photo. Pop up flash includes. Many choices under $1,000.00. Excellent photo's.

In the past all of the pano shots I took were with the camera held in the horizontal position. I recently watched an instructional video that suggested to take the photo's for the pano with the camera in the vertical position. They explained that this gave you move flexibility when cropping. This is my result.
It was a 4 frame shot with the lens set at 17mm.

I had the same problem with my Nikon D850. I downloaded Adobe DNG and it solved the problem. It converts the RAW pics into something that my PS Elements can read and process.

Your pooch photo's look great. As for the learning curve. I don't think it ever stops. I have been a photographer for several years and am still learning. I have picked up a lot of useful knowledge from photo forums and watching photography videos on You Tube.

I use a heavy duty aluminum Manfrotto for all my shots. I want something that is not going to move. To me light weight tripods can be a bit flimsy.
Take a look at the Manfrotto website.

This young girl did not know that Mom and Dad had bought her a puppy. When she found out and was able to hold it, it was instant love.
