The CDC has the expertise - it's just that no one is prepared, and the fact that this is a new threat means that some people just have not tuned up their common sense to deal with it - as seen in the video on the news yesterday showing them putting the Ebola patient on the plane - the ambulance driver (with no protective gear) walked up to the medical team (with protective gear, having been attending the patient in the back of the ambulance) and a member of the medical team handed him a clipboard which he took in his bare hands. Moron, and sadly possibly a dead moron.

Fortunately the nursing organizations are loudly pointing out how ill-prepared we are. Most of us as medical professionals know how to use the typical protective equipment for the typical infectious diseases - but we have dealt with nothing like this. NO infection that we have worked with in the past requires such care, requires teams to properly gown and de-gown. In Liberia workers are sprayed down with a bleach solution before de-gowning, since it is hard to de-gown without touching anything. And a big stumbling block that is now showing up is that ALL of the waste generated caring for these patients must be either incinerated or autoclaved. And look at the hospital in Dallas - they now have 76 of their valuable health workers out being quarantined. No hospital can function with that situation.

Gee, I've been using an iPhone since 08, but I certainly don't use the camera for photography(snaps yes, fotos no).
That said, probably the two best photography gallery shows I've ever seen were done on iPhones.
I will be getting the new 6 in a few months. Had they only come out with the plus(+)model, I would have gone to a different phone. I was pretty relieved when the new std. 6 had only grown by 3/8" to accommodate the TV screen aspect ratio.
