I’m unhappy with ON1 as well. I have subscribed to them for 5 or 6 years but when I purchased the 2023 update it wouldn’t load. I wrote to them and the work around still doesn’t work! I am still using last year’s version but I doubt I’ll continue to support their products

I used Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT). Great company. Check them out online.

I also used OAT for two separate trips to Africa. Both were outstanding!

The problem could be that the threads have galled, i.e. there is some material transfer between the two parts. A 50/50 solution of acetone and automatic transmission fluid is about the best penetrating lubricant I know of. It only takes a drop or two. If you decide to try it make sure to test it on an unseen surface to make sure there's no reaction of any surface finish on the parts that might react to the acetone.

I think the screw threads have been corrupted by repeated attempts to reattach the twist leg lock

I haven't had any luck (despite many attempts) to screw it back on. How did you accomplish that feat?

I bought a Nest nt6324CT CF in last Jan, 2019 after reading glowing reviews on UHH. After the 3rd outing the meddle twist leg lock ring separated from the tripod. I can't screw it back on, so the bottom half of the ring can grasp the leg but the top half just slides off (yes, the white clips are properly attached). Where can it be serviced?

I will be going in 4 months and was wondering which lenses to take for my Canon 5D mark III. I own 16-35 f2.6, 24-70 f2.8, 28-300, 70-200 f2.8 and a 300 f2.8: Do I need a tripod or monopod?
