..the TV adds, with their cautions, kinda keep you from wanting 'em.. GBG

I agree with you. The ads on TV may start out sounding like a good thing but by the time they get through going down the list of side effects I wouldn't want to take them. The literature that comes with samples is a bit frightening when you read all that fine print.

Good article. I used to work for Doctors and was digusted by how much drug company's would reward the Doctors just to listen to their sales pitch. Lunch was almost always catered in. Get-away-trips all expenses paid by the drug companies. Then there is a disgusting amount of waste in the packaging of samples. For example; 2 pills in one plastic bottle placed inside a box, inside another box, inside another box. When samples expired we used to be able to donate them to the homeless shelters and other charities but the government put a stop to that. So these very expensive medicines would be disposed of. This is just one of many reasons why I no longer work in the medical industry, which is what it is; a corparate industry.

Okay I just read some of the other posts and I will check the owners manual. I don't know why I didn't think of that on my own. Being lazy is my guess.

I agree. I also am new to this web page and I try to guess what the initials stand for but I bet I am right maybe 15% of the time. I would be very appreciative if you guys gave us newbies a break. Thank you very much.

Can anyone recommended a photo editing program that is comparable to photo shop but can be down loaded for free. Tight budget. Also if the program is easy to manipulate that would be a plus or better yet one that explained how to use the program in laymen terms would be really nice. Thank you, this is all new to me.

I am currently shopping around for a new camera, my grand daughter got a hold of my Cannon and it no longer functions correctly (those one year old fingers can work fast if your not paying attention) so anyway, I am on a tight budget and have been comparison shopping in the $150.00 range. Is it possible to get a good point and shoot in that price range? I liked my Cannon and have owned a Sony at one time (stolen from my car). Any suggestions?
