At least a minute under and coated in mud. I'm thinking of trying to power it up tonight. Lcd screen had water in it.

Nikon said it wouldn't be economically feasible to repair either the lens or camera.

I did email Nikon and no reply as of yet. Luckily I have insurance on my equipment.

My D500 was submerged in murky water on Sunday. It is currently sitting in a sealed box of rice and desiccant bags to absorb moisture. The lense is junk, but is it worth trying to save the body?

Still having problems on this. I let several years go by & would think by now it would be easy to install. It is the same. Nikon closed till Tuesday will try with their help. Any suggestion with your experience ?
Thanks, & Happy 4TH.

I never had an issue with snapbridge until the latest update. Now it takes an act of god to get my phone to connect to the camera.

I had the same issue with mine. Sent it to be repaired and had it back in less than 3 weeks.

Fall images taken at Maudslay State park in Newburyport, MA. Some taken with my Nikon D7000 while others taken with my D750.

Great photos. A great time of year to walk Maudslay.

Decided to order a new battery for my D500. Ordered it on Sunday 7/19 and it arrived today and to think Amazon can't get a package of socks delivered to me in under a week from a facility 2 hours from my house.

I was thinking of purchasing one, how big of a lense will it support? I currently have a D500 w/ 200-500 mm.

Lucky for us we are very close to this beach area.
It's a pretty big area and relatively few people are around.
Often a great sky can be had!

I'm there just about every weekend.

I gave up on this 6 months ago on my D500.
Has anyone use this recently? Please update. Thanks

I use it all the time with no issues with my D500.
