This Fuji lens is awesome! New condition with original box& sales receipt & manual. Handhold for those great ‘shoot through’ flower pics, X series Fuji gives you 600mm reach , very sharp . A steal at $1,250.00 FIRM.
Paid $1,899.00 at Hunts Photo new. I’ve gone back to the Dark Side (Nikon Z) and selling off Fuji.

This male Osprey was not happy he could not lead us away from nest area (Waccamaw River Day marker) and gave me the 'stink eye'! We were not that close to the nest but he had just missed a fish therefore was not too happy! Sorry about the watermark but it is early/late & haven't had my coffee!

In a little late on this one-BUT- I offer my recent experience out West, did the 5 Natl Parks & few State Parks in AZ, Utah area. Brought two mirrorless Fujis, 12mm Zeiss on one, 18-135mm on the other. Several spare batteries & adequate # of cards. Worked out very well as my goal was interior slot canyons (used BOTH cameras) and exterior landscapes & panos. Captured amazing sights and did not need to change lenses (valuable in the slot camyons with 'Spirit' dust). In your case the 150-600 for wildlife as well as scenics, so I suggest both cameras listed & lenses. Enjoy your Photo Safari & pls post pics on your return.

Rent both lenses-purchase the one you like the most. Works for me.

Use the shades, won't be in your way & will protect from light some protection for the lens. Can always remove it if need be.

You might consider a rubber lens hood so you can put it flush against windows / aquarium glass withut scratching or making noise while blocking extraneous light. Good luck whichever way you go.
