Do any of you know how import fees work? I ordered an American-made ukulele from a store in England, and it was held up in a UPS warehouse in Louisville, KY. When I called, they said the seller had to provide more info. That got done, and it should arrive on Monday.

Last night, I received an email from UPS telling me that I had to pay $108.22 in import fees before the uke is delivered. I've bought ukes from Japan, China, Australia, and New Zealand without paying any fees. I don't understand why I have to pay for this American-made uke. Any ideas?

It is UPS. I have ordered things from the USA to Canada and was shipped with UPS and got charged way too much.

I had a issues with it just shutting down. I contacted them and was send something to try and so far so good.
I just got a email from them and they say they should have a update in about a week. I still like 4 very much

Thanks all I didn't notice the horizon line until I pushed send. It was a easy correction. I think once anyone uses Luminar 4 and in no time will get the hang of it. Jim Nix does a great job and easy to follow. And the best part is you don't pay every month. That picture was not a Raw file so a little limited. My main purpose was to show off Luminar 4. Once they get the bugs worked out I think it will become very popular. And again thanks for all the CC.

I thought some are wondering about Luminar 4 like I did wonder if it is any good.
The before and after was all of five minutes to edit. Was shot nine years ago as a jpeg on a Nikon D300s set to auto. Tell me what you think. Thanks all for your time

Thank you very much. And if the Tutor only knew the pain I had dealing with a fogged up lens in the middle of the bush.
Glad I had a heater in my side x side

Yes we got two nice Moose for four guys. Freezers are full. Thanks for all the nice comments. This picture was for a photo assignment on a course I am taking and it got me a B+. I did also learn one important thing about temp change and lens. My 70-200 Tamron G2 fogged up and I missed a shot of a life time of a owl. Maybe he will be around next year. Thanks all

Picture of daughter and grand daughter. Taken with flash off camera and window light. What can I change? Looking into getting a Godox studio setup with soft boxes and lights. Thanks all for any pointers.

I grew up in Shelburne NS and now have been in BC since 1974. New ever went to Peggy's Cove until 5 years ago when I had to go back home. Nova Scotia has lots to offer. I hope to spend a few months when I retire in 3 years.

Picture is of light house at Peggy's Cove Nova Scotia. Next to the site of the Swiss Air Crash. Very sad to stand and think about the people on the plane that day.

Does any one have either of the above lenses for sale. To be used with a Nikon D 600

I am a Sigma Sport 150-600 that I have used only 4 times. The only problem is that I live in Canada. The cost in USA dollars for the lens would be $1300.00 plus shipping and any Duty. It is a great lens. Reason for selling I have switched gears and more interested in Portiere than wildlife. If you are interested in the lens let me know and I can check into shipping cost.
