Those batteries should last quite awhile. like a few have said, depends on how much your going to shoot also. And just as a reminder be sure your camera is turned off before putting it away, I have gotten in a rush and forgot to flip the switch, just saying. Always keep one charged and have the charger handy if u get caught short on battery power.

Well imho I would say #3 if your taking pics of the boats in the harbor, but if your taking a pic of the whole harbor I would use either 1 or 2, but crop the sky down some to focus more attention on the harbor. It just depends on what "story" you're trying to tell. IMHO.

I stand corrected...its my 24.mm that's 2.8. You are right suitcase probably not good idea, I keep all my stuff in a camera backpack and took it onboard when i went to Vegas. I didn't even trust it on the overhead bins.

I also have the T6 and really love it. I have upgraded my lenses except the 18-55mm kit lens. I would suggest maybe purchasing a 50mm 2.8 lens. They cost about $125 from Amazon. It's small w pretty good speed @2
.8 and are small enough to pack somewhere in a travel suitcase if you don't have s my room for it in your camera bag. IMHO.
