Excellent photo! Great subjects, depth, and composition, but you knew that! Did you ever catch up to them again? LOL
Very nice, Cyan.
Even a bit of chrome, enhanced by mother nature, can create reflective artistry. A cloudy or rainy day can intensify the shot. Umbrella optional.
Mark, I love the Melk shot. Dramatic lighting with oodles of contrast and color. Best 'floating' vacation we've ever been on; Amsterdam to Budapest, and I wish we had done the 23 day river boat cruise from Amsterdam to Bucharest! Roman
Each looks like oil and canvas with great composition. Masterpieces! Frame them all as a series and hang them somewhere!
Dennis, agreed. I got confused between the 'silhouette' thread from the previous day, and forgot where is was once I downloaded my photos. I am sorry. Same two photos under the 'challenge' section once I had realized what I had done. Your photos are wonderful. The third my favorite, too.
Once in a lifetime 'seat'. Terrific compositions. Almost of another world. You can feel the depth and realism. I think I got some sand in my mouth!
Put these in the 'future' discussion section from 4/13 this morning.
Somewhat unintentional photos from our February trip to Del Mar, California. To me, it does seem that a silhouetted photo, planned or otherwise, tells or creates a story more than a typical 'sun behind you' shot can in certain situations, or accentuates that story. I felt these were good enough try to sell on a piddly photo site. Look at the 'downloads' for full details and clarity.
I assume the D7500 has been sold already?
How far are you from Shelby Township? D7500 still for sale?
Black walnut plank at David Alan Collection in Solana Beach, CA.
Did you try rotating the hood 90 degrees? Maybe those larger 'two lips' aren't orientated correctly.
Everyone of these photos and the ones in your other threads should all have been sold somewhere! National Geographic could use you!
Fantastic!!! Each and every one of them.
