what type of wide angle lens should i buy???? i have the canon rebel t3i EOS600.i wanna get wide,panoramic shots up close,amd i have a 55-250 lens also that came with the camera.its been an all-night affair trying to learn how to use,im used to a simple point and shoot camera.maybe a fisheye lens????

lou v thanks for ur input.u understood me fully,i know,im new at this,so please be patient with me.I am in the process of returning the item,I will then buy the one with the 58mm filter thread.sorry for all the confusion,everyone,but now I understand much better.

ive figured it out,im returning the 52mm thread lens and getting the 58mm thread wide-angle attachment.

thats why i wanted to know,should i return the 52mm lens,and exchange it for the 58mm lens,both made by vivitar,the ebay seller is not getting back to me,im trying to figure out the most logical and cost-effective way to deal with this,thanks,ken and al;l the others who have replied.thank you.

i just wanna make sure i dont make 2 mistakes in a row,if the listing said i needed 58mm thread,i would have gotten that one.(wide-angle accessory)

ebay says that i need a step-down ring to connect my 52mm accessory to my 58mm lenses.

my standard lenses are 58mm,and if i wanna use the wide angle,that is 52mm,so i would need a step-up ring,correct?????????

i just wanna attach a wide angle lens for extra-wide closeups,such as a concert stage,i know absolutely nothing about filters,id like to learn more about them,will the step down ring work ok if no filters are used????/

I just purchased a canon eos 600 t3i,58 mm lenses,and i bought the wrong wide-angle lens(52mm)would anyone suggest a step-down ring,or would that cause constant viginetting????? I am a total beginner at this......or should i return it ,and pay double for the 58mm lens??????any help would be appreciated.thanks.
