I regret that the last one has an obstructed view by me, but this tree had a lot of other interesting characteristics.

Thank you all for the input, advice, and encouragement. I have taken this into consideration and made a number of adjustments to the site. The signature that showed on the images was just a watermark and would not have been printed. However, to reduce confusion, and because the configuration of my website reduces the risk of undesirable downloading of my images, I have removed the watermark. After doing so, I personally feel that it is a more aesthetic approach also. Thanks again for all of the help and any future critique.

I don't see anything wrong with the web site, my issue is I don't see anything that I would consider fine art. I'm not putting down your work or your web site, and just because I don't find the pictures very artworthy doesn't mean that other people won't. Keep trying and I hope im wrong.

I will look back over the website to ensure the terminology is presented correctly. It should state that it is Fine Art Photography. I do appreciate and value your insights and opinions. Thanks for commenting.

This is probably the main reason. You need to know how many people are seeing your site and you need to invest in ways to increase the visits. I hired an SEO for my company’s website. It takes time though. It took about a year to move my company near the top of Google’s search engine.

Thank you for the feedback.

It looks and navigates fine to me. I see no navigational flaws that would distract from buying. Must likely, your problem is on search engines, like Google. Probably, your domain is not at the top of the search engine.
I don't really know how that work in the advertising world of search engines, but this could be one of the reasons why. Also, your business is one, that right now very few companies around the world is using. Most businesses are hurting economically. Their budget is very tight.

I ran an ad through Google last month. However, as you commented here, I am limited on advertising funds because of the hurting economy as well. I was laid off from my career of 26 years in March and haven’t found another job yet. I will be advertising more as I can get the funds. Thanks for the comment.

I took a quick look at your site. If I was to look for a print for a friend of mine, I would look for cars, tractors, trains and other things that would catch their attention. If that type of print is there I did not locate them.

Thanks for looking. Not much of those up, yet. I have some on my PC and will be creating a new page with that theme in the future.

I'd put just what products are being offered and their associated pricing up front on the home page. Some info. on products offered does show up on the "About" page, but not nearly adequate in my eyes. The galleries are nice and I know you want to show off your work, but I for one wouldn't spend much time looking if I didn't know up front how much I was expected to spend. Good luck with this endeavor.

Thank you for the input. I was actually thinking of doing this and am looking into the best way to lay it out.

I think you have a very well thought out website. I suggest that you join all the social media platforms and link your website there. You might ask friends and family to do the same.

Thanks for the comment.

Hello all. I went ahead and posted this in Links and Resources because I figured it would end up here anyway. I went live in October with my online shopping website. I have my Home Page set as the landing page.
https://www.jcolbeyphotos.com
I need some productive feedback on what would improve my site to make the sales. All comments are welcomed. I know advertising is a must, but what I am looking for here is once they land on my site what would keep them here and produce the sales?
Here is a direct link to the Shop Page.

I received an email advertisement from Adorama that included, among other things, this tripod.

https://www.adorama.com/kfc09090.html?emailprice=T&utm_medium=email&guid=E234444C-BECD-444C-BA6A-C599701CBAE7&utm_term=Postcard&utm_content=Body&utm_campaign=22241298_201130-CM-8AM_SL3B-BAI-Computers-Recent_201130-CM-8AM_SL3B-BAI-Computers-Recent&sv_svemi=E234444C-BECD-444C-BA6A-C599701CBAE7&utm_source=slth

Has anyone had experience with this equipment and is it worth the price?

Greta brought in a couple from her greenhouse. It is not heated but the bush was against the house so somewhat protected. It is an enclosed patio with an extension that goes past the concrete onto dirt.

Very nicely composed. Beautiful rose.

Many of my photos, such as this one, come from job sites. This one, taken in May of 2005, where I spent about three years. A glimpse of this I saw, as I entered the property. I parked, grabbed my camera, and sprinted the fifty or so yards towards it. I have had a lot of fun with several of the images I took that morning, and hope you will also.
