Amazing. Really love them all! Love birds in flight photos and these are terrific images!
Thank you everyone. It was nice to get outside with my camera. I had knee replacement surgery almost 6 months ago and it didn’t go so well. It was nice to get back to doing what I’d say is a great hobby, enjoying the outdoors, even if it was just by my house.
The things I find right outside my door. So glad I took the camera with me. It looked like rain was coming and I thought I should take my camera back in the house. I’m so glad I didn’t. 2 minutes later, this buck just came walking right up to me. I was a bit nervous as he got very close and I was trapped in my chair (leg surgery). He just stopped, looked at me and then walked very slowly away.
The 2 eagles visit every evening. They are a mating couple.

I've watched lots of herons but can not say I have been mooned by one as in the 4th shot. Unique.
Yes, it was a first for me too!
Turkey buzzards, usually not perceived as the most beautiful of birds, but they have such unique detail. I kept telling them I wasn’t dead yet but, they weren’t leaving. Lol!

Well done! I'm envious. But were those all honeybees?
I’m not positive, but I think the first few (green eyes) were carpenter bees. The last 2 are honey bees.
Thank you everyone. ☺️
There were so many bees yesterday. I think they needed to get out as much as I did. Usually I run from them (allergic), but this time they intrigued me. After looking at the same 4 walls for so long, I’d watch an ant for entertainment. Lol! Honestly those little buggers are hard workers. If I have the strength, I’ll try it again today or tomorrow. The weather is beautiful.
I hope you all from the white north get an early spring! Soon you will have some new life to capture.
I’ve been on bed rest/limited activity, for over 12 weeks. I’ve become buggy inside. So my dear hubby helped me outside. He carried all my camera equipment, chair, iPad, etc... I just need some sunshine. I lasted maybe 15 minutes... the only things I could find from my chair were some happy bees. Their not my best pictures, I am too shaky, but I just had to share.
Beautiful! Always enjoy your work, but these are definitely some of my favorites.
Great shots!
We have so many woodpeckers in Florida, I just can’t seem to get close enough. They always hop to the other side of the trees.
I have an Ipad pro with 512gb space. I use Lightroom cc, but am also interested in hearing more about affinity photo. I’ve read the reviews which are mixed.
I really like 1 and 2. Very interesting to look at. Like the depth it adds.
Found it. Thanks for letting us know about the deal. Can’t wait to get it.
I can’t find this deal on b&h site.
