I was dealing with a Crescent moon and a few low clouds which in the end added a little character to the photos. I use a Nikon D850 with a Sigma F1.8 wide angle Art lens. I started with 10 second exposures and had to crank it down as the aroura got more intense. I shot photos for three hours and it was still spiking when I left. Iceland is an amazingly beautiful place.
Another favorite subject of mine, one that I thank for getting me interested in photography
Wood Ducks are a favorite subject of mine. I never get tired of their beauty
The first one is a female Red-Winged Blackbird, the second one is a Female American Kestrel and the third one is a Female Rufous Hummingbird
Female "Rufus Hummingbird"

I use a Nikon D850 and a Sigma 150/600 C lens. I generally shoot BIF at around 1/1600. I prefer to get a little wing blur to show motion.
Thanks for looking at my photos

I totally agree. BIF should show motion, a tiny bit of wing blur creates that feeling of motion.
The first one is a male Wood Duck, the second is a Female Audubon's yellow-rumped Warbler and the third is a Tree Swallow
The male Northern Pintail is without a doubt one of my favorite ducks. Their beauty is hard to beat.
You just don't want to be its' prey
Winter always adds challenges to photography but also a great deal of beauty
Woodys are one of my favorite subjects. Their beauty is unparalleled in my opinion.
Blue-Winged Teal are favorite of mine this time of year
Thank you so very much everyone for looking at my photos and your comments.
