I use B+W filters exclusively. I’ve always had good experience with them.

Fabulous pictures, Mark! I was in Zermatt several years ago. It is a magnificent town. The railway is great fun. We hiked part of the way down and it was great time!

Thanks. My Tamron 24-70 F/2.8 G2 is on my camera most of the time during my recent trips. I love the new Z series 24-70 F/2.8. I know it is expensive and more weight but the reviews across all focal lengths has been spectacular. If I pick up the 24-200 and 50mm 1.8, the total price will be around $1300. If I wait for Nikon sale, I may be able to grab the Z 24-70 F/2.8 for about $1999 (which it was several months ago). I heard the lens is so good you really won’t need any primes in that range.

Thanks for your help!

Are you manually focusing the Tamron 90mm? I have the Tamron 90mm SP. I’m waiting for Tamron to release the firmware update to support the Nikon Z series cameras.

I presently have a Nikon D750 and the following Tamron lenses: a Tamron 24-70 F/2.8 G2, a Tamron 70-200 F/2.8 G2, and a Tamron 17-35 F/2.8-4. All will work with the Nikon FTZ Adapter. I’m planning to buy a Nikon Z6 II or a Nikon Z7 II so I can lighten the load for travel. I was thinking about buying the Nikon 24-200 Z lens as a walk around lens. My Tamron 17-35 is light and that will fill out the lower end. Any recommendations on adding a low light Z prime to compliment this setup (35mm, 50mm).

Thanks for your help!

Mike

The intent of my question was I was seeking feedback from Z6 and Z7 owners who purchased their cameras prior to any upgrades being released. I was curious to see if the upgrades provided noticeable improvement in certain areas. I thought the owners could provide some insight in that regard.

Since their launch dates how have the firmware updates improved the Nikon Z6 and Z7? Any notable improvements? I understand some focusing issues were addressed. How about low light performance?

Thanks for your help!
