I have (or will attempt) to post (2) images. one from long ago, taken in Frankenmuth, MI. It is still one of my personal favorites of Emmett Kelley Jr II sitting in a window attracting a crowd. The pole growing from his head was a reflection from across the street. (Lesson Learned). The second from a recent trip to Juneau AK. I was intrigued by the curve in the street and mountain peak. I was just getting ready to move to the right to include the street Clock, when this lady turned with a pose while exclaiming "I couldn't resist", Neither could I.

[quote=hobbit123]This is a good question because if you've never used SnapBridge you have no idea how handy it can be. Typical scenario - I go on vacation and take my camera and my phone (Android in my case). I take some photos with the camera and when I get back to my hotel room I review them...on the tiny LCD screen on the back of the camera. That's the best I can do and it's not ideal. The solution? Take a laptop of course then just use a USB cable or remove the SD card and put it in the card reader in the laptop. Problem? My laptop is heavy and it represents a significant risk of theft.

I also used an android phone on vacation. I put the phone in airplane mode then turned on only the Bluetooth and location and recorded general locations to the meta data. (You can set the timing (Accuracy) for taking way-points.

I'm no expert nor do I claim to be. But i appears to me that the Bluetooth connection is used to transfer images and location information between the camera and phone/tablet. The wifi connection is used to control the camera using the phone/tablet (remote shutter and limited settings). I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong.

When exploring the west coast of Michigan one trip will not be enough. All of the above suggestions are great. One I didn't see was Leland (also known as fishtown) small but worth the stop. Plenty of wineries in that area also :)

I had something like that connected to the VCR and the bulb end went near the tv receiver. Then the VCR could command the channel on the tv automatically when you shoved a tape in. Early auto play.
