Really good photo capture.
I don't know how many others in UHH might like to see the inside. If you could talk the owner into letting you do it you'd likely get some interesting photos of the structural details. For example, the roof trusses would be art work in themselves. Just a suggestion ...
I was in a bit of a rush yesterday but will definitely keep that in mind the next time I'm in the area.
Passed by this glorious old barn several times and today was it's time to be captured on camera.

Great first post, PhotoMinx. Welcome to UHH, and keep those pics of old and abandoned buildings coming. I know that Alberta has lots of them when you travel the country back roads. I primarily shoot old barns and abandoned farm houses in Saskatchewan.
There are a lot in my area and I will definitely keep them coming .

Welcome to the Hog. Lots of great Photographers and lots of information available throughout the forum on different threads. I found that AL. has a lot of opportunities to find old dilapidated buildings if you drive the back roads. In my travels found an old log built church on a dirt road outside of Grand Prairie. Couldn't get close to shoot the inside as it was fenced off.
i think I'll be busy snapping pics in Central Alberta for awhile, there are oodles of old abandoned buildings in my area, I've got my camera with me at all times and every time I run across something it's like an adrenaline rush.
Thank you everyone, I'll try to remember not to forget the Rule of thirds .

Hi finally set up my account, I use a Canon T2I with an 18-55mm, and 75-300mm kit lens. I like sunsets, old buildings, waterfalls, streams, rivers, fall foliage, odd and unusual subjects, birds, wildlife, landscapes, and anything else that catches my interest. Looking forward to my first posting, be gentle, I'm new at this, lol.
