We had tornadoes in South Carolina but the closest I came to one was when one touched down about a mile from my house. When I was teaching school we had a couple of warnings and gathered all the students in the halls and had them crouch down next to the walls but we were not hit. In Utah they are uncommon. Since I came back here to live there has only been one. It was in Salt Lake City and one person was killed.
I too am a sucker for cameras in a thrift store. I have over 30 in my collection. I have them in a display cabinet in the corner of my home office. I have also bought a couple of lenses that turned out to be hung up and are just paper weights.
I never watch sports. I realized after I left high school that if I don't know the players on the field it doesn't interest me.
Ain't got no idear. I would just switch on all three and have as much light as possible.
I wouldn't know. I have never been on a cruise.
I likes 'em all. Thanks for posting.
I like these shots very much. Well done.
Well, there ain't no boids in Antarctica. Watch some of the documentaries on the Falklands. They show plenty of birds and some of the guides.
It wouldn't be complete without a Robin. Nice shots.
Nice, interesting shot, but I got a chill just looking at it.
I figure it ain't worth worrying about, but then, I am old.
Interesting looking fish. I don't reckon that this particular type is very dangerous.
Nice photos. The desert is full of different scenes, all of it very interesting.
