Don't know if you have found a Quicken alternative yet or not, but I have been using a product called Moneydance. It will do just about anything Quicken does for around $50.00. I have rentals and am able to categorize expenses between them, I can set automatic deposits and payments and it has many graphs and reports just like quicken does. I was a quicken user for years, and also had problems with it from time to time. I have had great luck with Moneydance, so check it out.

Sweet face.
When in doubt, put down the owner, not the dog.
It was the dog that bit me for taking out my trash a few months ago. Have spent my entire summer sneaking outside when the neighbor pit is inside so as not to get chased back in.
A wonderful bird is the pelican
His bill will hold more than his belly can
He can take in his beak food enough for a week
But I'm darned if I can see how the helican.

I have tried this many times but this is the first time it worked....no matter the day
I have used bubble wrap for years to insulate windows in the winter time. Just spray the window with a little water and press the bubble side to the window. Much less cold radiates into the room.

I had a pet crow as a kid, and those are definitely Ravens. Crows besides being smaller have more slender beaks and sleeker feathers..not so scruffy looking. Crows if handled young make for really cool pets.
Eggs in a basket in my area (Ohio). Cracker Barrel has it on their menu.

Nice series. The bees seem to be very busy. Busy as a bee.
My moon flower plant is very large and I'll bet that I have anywhere from 40 to 60 bees on it every evening unless it rains. It is fascinating to watch them.
Thanks everyone for the kind remarks. Maybe there is hope for me yet
Thanks for the positive remarks
I haven't posted anything for a while because I just wasn't happy with any of the shots I was getting. I think these turned out pretty good, but don't hesitate to educate me on how I could improve.

I was at a pow-wow a few years ago watching the beautiful dancers when a feather fell from one of the costumes. Immediately everyone stopped dancing and left the field except for the fellow who had lost the feather. He just stood there as if in shock. The tribal chief came to him but we could not hear what they were saying. The dancer hung his head as if he was getting a real good talking to. Then they burned the downed feather and dug a small hole and buried the ashes. After that they both left the field. The other dances did not return and finish their dance, they just moved on to the next show. The only thing we were told was that the feathers are sacred and that what we witnessed was not for show and normally not seen by the public. You could have heard a pin drop in the crowd that day.
