US Army, May 1969 - May 1971, rank at discharge Spc E-5
Titusville, PA - 1963 (My senior year in high school) from January 29 through February 27 we experienced four days with real temps -30 f to -37 f. Those of us who did snow removal to provide a little spending money while we walked to school in the morning and/or back home in the afternoon, will never forget those days.

Aren’t they supposed to buy back excess electricity, that goes back into the grid, at a discounted or wholesale price?
In New Jersey they have a "Net Billing" option when you generate some of your own electricity. The bill is calculated as follows:
("Total KWH in from the grid" minus "Total KWH from your house into the grid") multiplied by "The retail price of one KWH including delivery charge".
That method of calculation leaves me with the spring months cost near $0.00 and usually one of them a credit that will be applied to the next bill since I sold them more than I bought.
Note that my system is 14 years old and that was the only pricing available in 2010 and my system is grandfathered into that pricing.
The only correct answer must be 35. What's different about the last table?

I don't know about NY or Pa but in New Jersey the electric company must pay for any excess that you generate at full retail price including delivery. They provide a "two way" meter and the monthly bill shows how much you purchased from them AND how much they purchased from you. From them - from you = net bill which in the spring may even be a credit.
Check your options carefully. Ownership of the generation equipment provides tax credits, rebates, renewable credits that can be sold, and payment for any power returned to the grid.
There are companies that own the solar generation farms that sell directly to the electric company and charge you a reduced rate for any of "their" power that you consume. I tried to explain the benefit of personal ownership to a salesperson from one of these companies who wouldn't accept that once installed, the solar power is free and any excess is purchased at full retail and that paying even a small amount for the solar power and giving up the dollars for excess generation would be idiotic especially in these days of government and utility assistance with the installation costs.
The price now is just a fraction of what it was 13 years ago when we got on the solar band wagon.

I'm looking for an opinion on this Food Supplement a friend of mine is selling. I say if it sounds too good to be true........ Attached you will see some info, the actual label on the bottle. I would appreciate any opinion from the medical professionals. I'm especially interested in the claim of controlling blood sugar.
I would check out the following link as it makes me think they are looking for beta testers for a potential new money maker.

Not too much has changed... I like it! 0-well. ë¿ë
I like it too, the old digest only showed me the sections that I follow and only if there were new topics or new posts to an old topic.
With the new "format" I click "Home" and go directly to the sections that I follow daily and see new topics or new posts to an old topic.
Gee! one extra click! A couple of extra milliseconds! Maybe I should threaten to leave the forum!
Nah, that would be petty.

Before you leave, have you tried logging in to
uglyhedgehog.com and clicking "Newest Topics"?
As stated already many times, the forum has not changed. Only the Digest was changed.
The old digest sorted (grouped) the topics by section. The "Newest Topics" appears to me in random sequence with only a hint as to the original section. I quickly adapted to using the "Home" button and reading the sections that I usually read every day and occasionally some of the other, less active sections occasionally.
All in all, I was used to the old way but quickly to find a way to make it work for me!
Did you click a link in the second email? If so it looks like it was a "spoof" of paypal and not the real thing. I never click a link in an email unless I am very sure of the source and have hovered over the link to see that is really going where it claims.

Or BODMAS our side. Typically ambiguous questions designed to obfuscate.
The problem with PEMDAS and BODMAS is that the last part is NEVER (well hardly ever) taught. Both should be immediately followed by "... as they occur from left to right." So often before the person gets to the MDAS part they have already reached the right end of the expression and they just work their way back to the beginning.
What a great way to spend a few hours witnessing nature at her best.
