Beautiful capture. You can "feel" the calm.
My cousins live in So. Williamsport and they drive by your home every Christmas Season. Until this post, the only picture I saw of your home was one outside view. We communicated back on January 1, 2018. I'm Woodworkerman, and the college professor you talked to. Turns out I'm coming to Williamsport on the 28th thru Jan 1 or 2 to visit family. I'm going to certainly have my cousins drive by your magnificent home. And it's so beautiful inside, as well. Many years ago, my great aunts promised me their organ (like yours), but when they passed, their brothers wouldn't allow it. But when I was at their farm (near Beulah Land - up near Cedar Run), I would always play the old hymns on their organ. They loved it. By the way, Jacob Salada, who founded Salladasburg, was a distant relative of my dad. I'm looking forward to seeing your home "in person." God Bless.
I know nothing about birds and did not spend time researching them for my post. The post I read online said that it was the smallest. Anyway, that picture shows a really, really, really small bird. Enjoy it.
This is for all of our Bird Photographers in UHH. I saw this posted on the internet, and it is not a quality photograph. But I have never seen a photo of the smallest bird in the world and don't know how many of you also have not. So I post this for general interest. I never imagined the smallest bird would be as small as this. Enjoy.
This is the Topaz Hummingbird.
It is the smallest bird in the world.
Congrats! I, too, am a Truck Guy. My last 7 vehicles have been trucks that I purchased new. I trade about every 3 to 4 years. Aside from what I can carry, I love being elevated a little so that I can see traffic ahead and avoid potential accidents. Current vehicle is a 2019 purchased 10/2018 and only 10,000 miles on it so far.
ENJOY your truck and have fun!!!!!
Wonderful shots. The first one made me think I was looking in the mirror. ;-)
This is a really cool web site.
Beautiful set. BTW, does the gator live under the ice in the winter?
Monument Valley is an amazingly beautiful place. The desolation of the landscape and the magnificent sandstone monoliths take your breath away. How many movies have immortalized these scenes in the minds of generations of people.
Desolation, yet it is not empty of life if one will just look. Among the sage brush and cactus, here are two trees my wife and I enjoyed seeing when we visited this wonderful place.
I've been to this beautiful place. How were you fortunate enough to take these shots with no people there?
