I read the instructions on charging the battery and inserting the SD card. I watch YouTube videos on unboxing and setup. All lenses get a UV filter screwed on before being attached to the camera. Camera is placed on auto mode and shooting begins. Once I get used to basic camera function I try the other modes (PASM).
