Got my first and only gimbal last year...... Lensmaster RH-1........ Awesome, couldn't be happier.... using canon 7D mk 2 with 400 f5.6L........ has made a much better setup then a monopod...... Wish I'd of saved money and not have bought the 100-400L Mk2.........
No pack yet... going to order soon.. thinking canon 200, but just looking at reviews on tarmac mini tracker that sounds good but discontinued... adoramo has a big sale so I'm looking hard..will report when it happens.. Thanks for following up... Happy New Year

Just got a new canon 100-400mk2 L to use with my 7dmk2.... need to upgrade my carrying method. use a sling strap for walking but interested in a SMALL backpack that would fit camera & lens attached..... Been looking at the canon deluxe 200 or amazons basic pack (the smaller one). any experiences out there or other thoughts..... Thank You and Merry Christmas to all... jimmy
Good morning Hogger's:: Just reviewed my original post and thank you to all for the help.... Now the update as what I have done and looking foward and appears to satisfied myself for now. I'm keeping my previous mentioned lens (saved money) and added a canon 500D closeup filter. My early shots look like it will be good and also nice to travel and hike with it. Have a good day.
Thanks all. I thought that what I could sell the other two for, plus what I would pay for macro lens would be about even. Any thoughts on Tokina 100 f/2.8????? Will go to macro section.
Would like to expand to more close-up/macro. ??? Add a Macro lens OR sell my canon 70-200 f/4L and canon 400 f/5.6L and go to the canon 100-400 mark2..... Camera bodies 7D mark2 & canon 60D. I like the idea of one lens.. I do a lot of birding and half to all day mild hikes... I'm sure this is a common question but will sellers remorse happen... Thank You all & Blessings.
