There are more trees on earth than stars in the universe.

LOL, no = not even remotely close...
One estimate is that there are 100 to 200 sextillion (10^23) stars in the observable universe.
Estimates suggest that there are about 3 trillion (3 x 10^12) trees on Earth.

I agree but it isn't perfect. Our recent trip in Spain had us following google map directions into places our small SUV would not fit. I'm talking 1 inch on either side of the car :-)

After staring at their boobs for a while, I concluded that these were two different people.

Another reason to take multiple shots of each subject is focus. Ideally portraits are shot with a shallow depth of field and this is not possible when shooting multiple subjects if you want all the eyes in focus.

Reminds me of the time they could get everything out until they realized there was a piece from my hearing aid lodged in there.

Obligatory AI Limerick:

There once was a site that folks loved,
Ugly Hedgehog, it rose far above.

With Nikon, Canon and Sony in hand,
They'd capture and share what was grand.

But with the flames of AI fanned,
we're into the attic and banned.

First I heard such a rumor. I'd sooner give up photography than have to twist my lenses the wrong way.

For a minute there I thought CHG_CANON was short for Changed from Canon :-)

Do I keep them RAW unedited and just look for sharpness, or edit them in some fashion to compare them (I have LR)?

I find that performing test shots on targets is the best way to learn how to use my gear. If you want to know the limits of your gear, then unmolested RAW images is the way to go. If you normally shoot JPG, than you should do those tests to so you can find the sweet spots for your lenses and camera settings.

I personally shoot JPG+Raw so I learn to get to know both.

Sorry, amateur lens tests only prove one thing, amateur's should not do lens tests.

I strongly disagree. Learning to use objective tests is the best way to find the optimal ways to use your tools. If you cannot measure a process you cannot control it.

If you are saying that sharing these tests with others implying they don't need to test, then I think you have a point.

For those who shoot Canon, the RF 24-240 is fantastic too. For me it is the ideal travel lens.
