What politician hasn't spun any fact that came out. The examples are endless.

It is time to move on; we need to solve some problems that are looming large.

I don't think it's time to move on. The President and Clinton make calculated decisions to allow the ambassador to die, lie about it, cover up their weapons smuggling operation to Syria and ......
They both should pay the price for murder.

I don't believe you actually understand the meaning
the word you are using.

sy·co·phant
noun \ˈsi-kə-fənt also ˈsī- & -ˌfant\

a person who praises powerful people in order to get their approval

Sounds to me like he used it just about right.

Then by the same token, anyone that believes that "when you've ended life after conception you've committed murder", should not be required to pay any taxes used to support wars.

How do you feel about wars? Approve or Disapprove?

in the bigger picture... it is a loss of an individual's rights versus the gain of a corporation's rights

Actually it is a gain for liberty and freedom. This corporation is a closely held corp., and the owner because he wished to not compromise his religious beliefs , nor should have been made to, decided to fight this government's intrusion. 16 of the contraceptive provisions are still required by them but the abortions methods affecting the post inception period will not be required. Christians believe that life begins at conception and that when you've ended life after conception you've committed murder.

Those that work for him have alternatives, He does not. They can practice safe sex, buy their own post conception abortive drugs, or find somewhere else to work.

Are you living someplace else? California has a $3.2 billion surplus, the state government under Govenor Brown is holding speding at an 8.5% yearly increase, and we have $23 million in a "rainy day fund" for emergencies.

It's what happens when both legislative branches and the governor's office are held by a Democratic majority.

SACRAMENTO -- Gov. Jerry Brown's image as a responsible, penny-pinching steward of California's finances has been cemented in recent weeks because of his renewed call to pay off California's "wall of debt.

That's a term Brown coined when he took office to describe the tens of billions of dollars California owed to public schools and special funds whose coffers were raided to help balance budgets in the past.

But look behind that $24.9 billion wall and you'll see a $330 billion skyline of other liabilities threatening the state's financial health. It includes $80 billion needed to cover teachers' pensions and $64 billion to pay for state workers' health care in retirement -- two particularly troublesome liabilities because the state isn't even making the minimum payments on them.

As a result -- similar to the debt of a homeowner who fails to make regular mortgage payments -- California's liabilities keep growing. For example, the money needed to fully fund the California State Teachers' Retirement System balloons by $22 million a day, or about $8 billion a year, financial analysts estimate.

This from the San Jose Mercury news Jan 2104. Not sure what kind of cool aid you're drinking or grass you're smoking but you really should slow down.

But not all are liberals. This is what doesn’t seem to get through your head. You are looking at party and ignoring ideology. The republican party was once dominated by liberals and the democratic party, particularly in the south, was dominated by conservatives. This isn’t the case today but both have been divided along conservative/liberal lines. Slavery and Jim Crow were the creations of conservatives not liberals and the fact that the good senator doesn’t seem to understand that he has joined the party that sought to enslave him only shows his ignorance of history and nothing more.
But not all are liberals. This is what doesn’t see... (show quote)

He's actually found the party that set the slaves free. The Democrat party is quite satisfied with enslaving people with programs that destroy the family, and that keep people beholden to government hand-outs. The conservatives of today are not the Southern Democrats of yesterday. As a matter my opinion I'd say they have very little in common.

Look how the Democrats have gerrymanderd the state of California and look at the result. High unemployment, destruction of our school by the invasion of illegals, massive taxes, businesses leaving in droves and bankruptcy of our cities.

I was actually referencing the 2013 Penn State football season being a lousy 7 and 5. Perhaps you should worry about what's on you mind.
