Several people have asked if I can share my photos with them. Is it then best to shoot in RAW format, manipulate the photos to get the best look and then export them in a Jpeg format so that I can put them up on an iCloud sharing platform? Or am I doing a lot of manipulating and copying of photos for no real benefit?
How can I get the correct exposure on this shot using a Nikon D750? This is an interior shot with a snowy, winter exterior beyond the windows. I want to capture the shot with plenty of detail both outside and inside. I have tried experimenting with different combinations of flash, underexposure and playing with ISO, but could use some advice.
Thanks for all the information and recommendations!
Thanks for the rapid and comprehensive response!!
Does anyone have a recommendation for a sturdy backpack type case for carrying my equipment? I travel a fair bit and need something sturdy, but also portable. I won't check my equipment, so need something that will allow me to carry the equipment on board. I have a Nikon D750 with 24-120mm zoom, 70-300 mm zoom and a large 14-24mm AF-S lens. The latter is bulky and comes with it's own case. I'd rather have something where I can fit all this into one backpack. Any suggestions?
