I'd probably start with an offer of $60 and perhaps work up from there. Nice find, BTW.

Thanks a lot , I’ll buy

Most probably it is only marketing reason like Nikon cameras sold in Germany during a certain period with Nikkor instead of Nikon

My preferred reseller is UsedPhotoPro, the used equipment division of Roberts Camera. I suggest adding them to your list if you go that route.

However, selling here is my first choice. Lately, there have been a few really annoying people who will try to lowball the seller, but for the most part the transactions are cordial and satisfactory. For pricing, check eBay and filter to the <Sold> items to see the going prices. For UHH, I try to hit at the reasonable lower end of that scale.

You as the seller will be hit with a roughly 3% fee if PayPal is used, and shipping will vary by location. You can choose to absorb these, or keep them separate for the buyer to pick up. However, there are no fees from UHH, unlike the fees charged by Bay.

Whether you want to consider lower offers is up to you. Selling loved gear, like selling a house, is always hard. Be prepared that you will never get as much for it as you think you “should.”

Best of luck with your selling.

I just sold my 200-500 and a few more lenses to KEH. Very easy and a few dollars more than their quote.

Sorry I know is my request is personal when and how much did you get from Keh
My question is they have to resale all the material so the market price now is 850/900 so you get max 600 if sold now most probably 1 or 2 years quote is different

i had from my friend above camera in pristine conditions , but i have discovered that the little wheel close to finder has the possibility to correct the eyes only until 2 diopters and my eye need one diopter more that means three , i have to buy an additional lens to cover my missing .
looking various sites that offer 1 , 2 ,3 additional diopters , what i have to buy ? lens with +1 or minus 1 and how this lens can be fitted on my camera.
Sorry most probably this is a not a problem for most of you but for me is a very big problem since i'm using currently my D850 and my D5 with no problem at all because their adjusting wheels reach up to three diopters.
thanks for your time and regards

Nikon USA will not service a camera unless it was distributed by them.
They also stopped supplying parts to independent repair shops. So the question
becomes who will fix your camera if it needs repair?

This is not a problem I can fix the lens by myself if I found the internally lenses I need

Maybe find a cheap (or cheaper) banged up "as-is" version on ebay - if the glass elements are clear (ask the seller, check photos), but the lens doesn't work or looks ugly externally, you have a donor candidate! It's too nice of a lens if it can be saved without costing a fortune. I think that is one of Dixie Dixon's favorite lenses!

BTW once the fungus takes hold it's like terminal cancer - it destroys the coating on the lens which can't be repaired. I lost a nice 100mm f/2 Zuiko (OM film) lens years ago the same way.
