up the road from Colorado Springs in Woodland Park is a really fine dinosaur museum. It is kid friendly. What you see on the porch maybe be a blow up 'saur.
This is the Colorado front range. The leaf change is a little spotty due to temps and rain issues. Pretty tree though.
When you see a sign like this, on public display, you know you need to move further south.
These falls are right at the edge of the Rockies. The drive up from Colorado Springs by itself is worth the time. The beauty of the falls and the surrounding area is a capper.
How is it possible that a bunch of rocks can be so beautiful?

This is "Not Ansel" from Pueblo. Currently there is no passenger service in Pueblo; all freight. There is passenger service in La Junta (60 miles east) and Trinidad (60 miles+ south). Both of those stations are pick up and discharge stations. No old neat buildings. These has been much discussion about starting passenger service to Pueblo but as far as I have heard it is only talk. We can hope.
I was most impressed that the turkey had been carved out of a stump. On top of the fine art work was the fact that the stump was on the far side of a large field, and was way away from the road. Why? You would think the artist would place his work somewhere that could be seen.
It would have been easy to miss this turkey that was hiding in plain sight. I think the bird missed the seasonal color change by a week or two. I would have missed the photo opportunity had I been out walking a bit earlier.

As a youngster my family lived in eastern Maryland. At night, during the migratory period, geese would fly over our home. There were literally thousands of them flying overhead. Their honking would wake you up.
Winter must be a'coming. All the geese are going to warmer climes.
I have a EM-1 Mark III. Love it, love it love it. All the prior compliments are true and accurate. For my walk around camera I have a EM-10 Mark III. It works very well for casual photography. I am looking at the EM-5 mark III but am a bit hesitant about the $. The EM-10 is a fine camera and suits my needs at this point. If I could convince my wife re: need/want I'd be all over the new EM-5.
I am sure there will be many, many arguments that theirs is the best chili. I would, respectfully, disagree.
My wife made this three eyed frog as a joke. At least we think there are no three eyed frogs.
