"Challenging" is the word I would use to describe how to shoot a car show. It seems like most every angle has already been shot so what do you do to try to be creative? Look for opportunities and they will manifest themselves to you. Have an open mind.
I hope you like these shots of some beautiful cars. Try downloading them for best viewing.

Classic cars and Surf City with the HB Pier in the background; it doesn't get much better than that Brent.

Very nice job on the images too.

This is the museum dedicated to the everglades and the history of same. They have great events and shows yearly. The most recent, The 12th annual Marjory Stoneman Douglas Festival, which was fantastic. I have been asked by them to show my wildlife photos of the area in a one man show for September and October. Clyde Butcher has had shows in the past and it is an honor to follow in his footsteps. Off to see the framer

Wow, what an honor my friend. Congratulations! I'm sure the folks attending your show will be absolutely delighted with your images.

Have you gotten as much rain down there recently as we have had up here in WA? We have been on flood watch up here. The Gr. Blue Herons you know have for sure loved it downtown between here and Fife. I'll never complain about the rain. There have been summers in years past when we have been told we could not water our lawns 'cause we did not get enough rain in the winter.

We've not received as much as you have Jana; however, the snow pack near Mt. Shasta is nearly 120% of normal and the Tahoe area snow pack is at 97% of normal so far this year. That's where we receive most of our water for the entire state. I hope we receive another few inches between now and the end of March. That would bring us to a little above normal for the year and we might be able to water our lawns this year.

With all the 1/2 and 1/3 mile tracks around this country there should be some great images on UHH members computers. Please shear your pictures here.

She saw me approaching the mud flats in Everglades National Park, with my camera. She hadn't seen me in a long time and began to dance with joy.

Amazing shots!!

Thanks Bob. I actually took these about a month ago while working with FEMA on the wild fire disaster recovery from the Butte Fire in Calaveras Co. Given the rain fall and snow over the past two weeks, I would suspect the river has twice the flow today as it did the day I took these. It's so nice to have water flowing again.
