Hello girls, rob the gardener came again this morning and my front garden is looking something like.šŸ‘ I can see a border appearing .its so hot out there today. For once, the north east coast has something the southerners havenā€™t got today and that is, heat and sunā€¦.

While rob the man šŸ§ā€ā™‚ļø was here the window cleaners came.soallin one morning.šŸŒ… he cleaned my porch facia for me. I have good people, even little-blossom,Cassie is surpassing herself. I donā€™t know how Iā€™d manage without my friends. Iā€™ve been waking up in the night worried sick about the bins and the buyer. Itā€™s had me so low this weekend, Iā€™m best on my own, sometimes I donā€™t come n here because fthings. BUT Andrew says to stop worrying about it and he will sort something out. So I feel a bit better. I found a šŸ« mint chocolate šŸ« aero on my counter. Stephen got it for me on Friday, but never said anything., Iā€™m feeling better already.

Margaret just been up and has Her stupid head on. I canā€™t be doing with it. Itā€™s so fussy. šŸ˜© she didnā€™t stay long because I didnā€™t sort of encourage her too. If that sound awful, then so be itā€¦sheā€™s a very clever lady, and a retired teacher. šŸ‘©ā€šŸ« she knows lots about lots, I donā€™t mind a giggle šŸ¤ but she goes n like a fussy šŸ˜© stupid person that makes me crossā€¦..sheā€™ll be different tomorrow. She probably feels the same about me.

Iā€™ve just had a photo of Matthewā€™s girlfriend, in Rome, having lunch. Did I tell you, that when they boarded they were offered an upgrade, for free, to a cabin with a large window and a balcony. It looks beautiful. Hesemt me this photo of her and Iā€™ve got to say, heā€™s got a pretty lady, I see how they are happy together. Lovely šŸ„° to see them so happy.

Soā€¦ stay safe and happy, enjoy your life. Donā€™t worry about things like I do.you get nowhere worryingā€¦..my very very old midwife, when I was in my early20ā€™s used to say to e..Susanā€¦.you die if you worry and you die if you donā€™t.shes right, wish I could take that saying for meā€¦..Iā€™m sorry if some nights Iā€™m not a lot to say but I do get a bit low, like us all, so,times. Iā€™m glad Iā€™ve got you my sisters. Enjoy the rest of the day.

Listen to Andrew Susan, the next day is always a bit better, don't let someone else wreck your day. You have good friends around you, they have your back! xoxo

The neighbours leave presents all the time.. cookies, flowers, books. Found this lovely bunch of lilac on my porch recently. Inside it would give me a headache but outside it's just fine!

Hello, it's been a lovely weekend, taking breaks from puttering in the garden to take Max across to the lake for swims. I've been throwing the same stick for days until I noticed an odd mark on it!
I split my hoses with one of those plastic splitters with the on/off toggles.. yesterday I turned the water on and one of the toggles blew right out and did I ever get a full pressure bath! I was soaked from head to feet! Strangely I found it funny and laughed all the way to get changed! Today I'll buy a new metal splitter.

The other day at the grocery store I offered a young happy looking lady the spot to go ahead of me, there was quite a line up. She declined with her 3 items and cell in her hand, said she was strengthening her phone finger! I said Iā€™d ask her again when I got to the till. In the mean time the till next to us opened and she waited for me to go first, I declined and said you go for it. As I was leaving with my groceries about 2 bags, she came up to me and said I had changed her day? Gave me a gift card for the store. Didnā€™t look at it till I got to the carā€¦ a whopping $50. I was thinking maybe $5 for a coffee! I would have done that for anybody. Wow. Going to pay this one forward. Thinking I might exchange it in, add to it and give out 3 more to give someone else a smile! xoxo

Good morning from a 50F and cloudy Shoreline area. Have someone coming to look at the house late this afternoon, so will be busy getting everything put away and the house spiffed up for that. Trying really hard not to get my hopes up. No other plans so will hopefully get on with my knitting at some point. I hope you all are staying safe and well and having as good a day as you can. xxxooo

With the housing crisis you would think you wouldn't be waiting for long... hope this one goes well for you both! xox

Good morning all from another gorgeous day in Norfolk. Did some gardening yesterday and muscles are telling me about it today, ouch. Will try and get out there a bit more today, so much to do. Nothing else planned for the day will go with the flow. Have a peaceful Sunday. xx

Me too, I take a couple of Tylenol before bed. Was gifted with one of those kneelers with handles on the side, what a game changer! Just about have all my bought plants in, waiting on a weed whacker battery so I can annihilate the blackberries in the back. Starting to look good! xox

Happy Motherā€™s Day! I have been busy trying to make my mother her birthday and Motherā€™s Day gift (her birthday was Friday she is 82) I finally conquered it and got it finished but Iā€™m not thrilled with it.

Been hold up in the house as the cotton balls are still flying!

It will be nice and appreciated because it was made by you! xoxo

The roofers are at the stage they are ready to put the metal on. They are a happy crew and work well together... I think that's because they have a boss that's good to them. Their gopher has been with them almost 10 years! I planted a whole flat of sunflowers, have to get them outside today before they get leggy. I see a ray of bright light, could it be sun!

Well this has been some kind of day up since 9:00a.m, yes thatā€™s early for a Sunday, power blew out at around noon called it in and a little over an hour later it was fixed poor squirrel missed calculated his jump, then I put Michaelā€™s soccer net together and then had to come in as the cottonwoods decided to make it ā€œsnowā€ I think itā€™s a little early this year!

Do the cottonwoods bother you allergy wise Lisa? Ours are getting ready to snow soon too, thankfully they grow all along the lake and not to close to us. Hope you get some me time in amongst the things that crop up in your day. Will you get a break from treatment soon? Hugs..xox

The family has been away this weekend on Salisbury Plains. Every early May bank holiday weekend the Army allows them onto the tank ranges if they have ex-military four-wheel drive vehicles. The Army tanks still practice but don't use firearms during the weekend. The kids all love it.
Unfortunately Merlin's Landrover decided to brake its crankshaft, so he was brought home yesterday by the RAC.
Alan has gone over to the workshop, where it was dropped off. His reaction to the news was "I've got a spare engine in the workshop" Of course he has!
I hope the others get their vehicles back OK today.

People have passions for Landrover's out here! On the weekend there was a club going out into the woods with them, must have been 40 at least, all years. It was something to see! We hooted and waved... they loved it! xoxox

Iā€™m so excited. Iā€™ve actually got a gardener šŸ‘Øā€šŸŒ¾, a man who worked with Albert, whoā€™s just retired. Itā€™s going to be a heck of a job just to get me out of delapadated condition. Thatā€™s a weight off my mind. John and Margret had him so we asked if heā€™d do mine. A very nice man.

Iā€™m finding it hard to type sometimes on here. I seem to be missing the keys more than ever I did. It was so cold this morning I put my heating onā€¦.stephen and sue sent a snap of them sitting in the hot tub with costumes on. Drinking Coca-Cola .they canā€™t be right in their heads. Thereā€™s got to be a link missing from them. He said it was 37degrees in tubā€¦.im glad I canā€™t get into it or Iā€™d have been dragged in too. Iā€™m so pleased about the gardener.šŸ‘Øā€šŸŒ¾ Iā€™ll be able to sit on the benches at the front again. Iā€™ve never sat out there for over 7 years. First because of losing Albert.i couldnā€™t sit on it because it was his benchā€¦sounds stupid but thatā€™s the truth. Then the grass got too long and is up to the height of the benches seat.šŸ’ŗ

I think Iā€™ve got chat club tomorrow. And knitting in afternoon. I havenā€™t been out for 2 weeks come Wednesday, until Stephen came for me to go there for the weekend. I donā€™t think Wendyā€™s very well. Iā€™ll go on Wednesday when I let the gardener in.

Stay calm girls, I love yawl. Stay safe too. Lisa and jinx take each day as it comes, illness and bereavement take some getting over. Here for youā€¦..Iā€™m feeling on the way up again.

It's going to be wonderful when your garden is tamed again and you'll feel better about visiting Albert on his bench. I can hardly wait for you to share how nice it will be. xoxox
