still use film
". Wonderful comment. I cry every time I open my old film equipment bagsfantastic bodies and lenses that never see the light of day. I'm too old to build another darkroom and I just do not trust any of the scanning processesfear a lot will be lost.
Beyond remarkable! Great work.
I know super-zoom bridge cameras are frowned upon at this site, but I must say I am thoroughly enjoying the freedom of not having to carry an over-sized bag to hold all of my interchangeable lenses. True, there are many sacrificeslower-quality glass, etal. However, most images are now viewed on a computer screen so the resolution is less demanding. I have a Nikon P510 and a P530. Not suitable for most professional work but wonderful for hobby-shots. And, zoom from 24mm to 1000mm. What's not to like?
KEEP USING iPHOTO!
When I switched to Photos, the way Photos organizes and presents images drove me nuts. "Where are my events?" How do I find those great shots? And, Photos does not allow batch updating of as much data as did iPhotos. I wasted days blaming myself for "just not getting it". Finally gave up.
This is another case where Apple actually downgraded some aspects of a great product when issuing an "upgrade". They did the same thing with the MacMinithe "Late 2012" model is actually more robust than the new one they are selling today.
Be a happy personstick with iPhoto.
