For others experiencing problems here is a follow up to my missing subscription issue. Last Friday I sent an email to PhotoPlus advising that lacking any legitimate actions from them I that intend to file complaints with the UK Insolvency Service as well as any other agency that I could locate.
I decided to give them a week to respond and if no reasonable response follow through with my complaints.
Here is the reply I received this morning as I was planning my letter to the UK agencies:
"I'm sorry to read that you haven't been receiving your magazine. I have arranged for the relevant replacement/s to be dispatched. From the date of this email, please allow 3-5 working days for delivery in the UK; up to 21 days in mainland Europe and up to 28 days for other countries."
I responded back that I would allow a reasonable amount of time for receipt but not 28 days as their boiler plate messages had promised such months ago. I have received things from China and S. Korea in a week.
I'm finished playing with these people and since I can't go knock on their door being a "keyboard warrior" seems to be all they understand.
I'll keep this post updated for those that are having similar issues.
In the meantime....
Happy Shooting

Thank you for the update. I also received the same response this week to my inquiry that I posted on 7 Jul. It took them over two weeks to respond with their canned statements. I'm just about done with this magazine.
Both have captivating eyes. Both beautiful grandchildren.

I was thinking of subscribing. What do you all think about the magazine?
Thanks,
Photodoc16
I've had a subscription for over 3 years and loved it up until I stopped receiving my issues. I learned a lot about my 5d IV and how to set settings for different situations. It gives valuable info on how to use DPP, Lightroom, Photoshop and other photo editing software. I really like the DVD's you get with the magazine that gives short videos on "How To". I store the DVD's on my computer for fast lookup on items when needed. Ken

On March 3rd I subscribed to their "deluxe" option and paid my $146. As of this date all I get is the similar canned "we have Covid 19 shipping issues" responses from them but no shipments. I don't enjoy reading magazines online so the digital copy is of value to me only as a point of reference.
Today I decided it was time to pull out all the stops. I've begun researching how to file a government complaint against a UK company. My first stop was the UK Insolvency Service. I have advised Future PLC, the publisher of PhotoPlus that I would be filing a complaint if I either started receiving my magazines or a refund.
BTW I have had no issues receiving copies of the EOS magazine also published in the UK.
Maybe now they will respond with something other than boilerplate pablum.

I would like to know how this turns out. I too want to file a complaint, but wasn't sure how to do it.

What month was the last issue you received?
Issue 164. It states Spring 2020 which I think is the May Issue. I haven't received issues 165-167 and I believe issue 168 should ship out shortly.
Not sure if this is the correct area for this message if not, I apologize and please move it to where it belongs. My question is this, do any of you subscribe to the magazine, and if so, have you been experiencing missing issues. I've haven't received copies in more than 3 months. I've contacted them on three occasions and keep getting an automated response that says due to covid-19, they are experiencing reduced staffing, but will get back to me shortly. Haven't gotten anything from them except the automated responses and no magazines.

I checked the site and also my Canon Professional Services site both seem OK for my gear. The CPS site is still frustratingly slow. It takes forever to login and sometimes just doesn't. For a big company their servers should perform better.
I keep a spreadsheet with a running list of all my serial numbered gear dating back to my first DSLR in 2005.
Happy shooting
I too have a spreadsheet with the serial numbers, however, I didn't have the date and place I bought them. Again, luckily I still had my receipts. The main reason that I register with Canon is two fold. I want to be notified of any updates and also, if my items are stolen, they would have a list of my gear to give to the police in the event I can't provide the necessary info.
I happened to log onto my account with Canon at their website to make sure all of my items were registered. What I found out was that my items were no longer registered. I placed a call to Canon and was told that they had a got a new system and that a lot of items didn't cross over to their new system. You might want to check your account to make sure your gear is registered so that you are notified of updates for your gear. I had to dig through all of my receipts to find out when and where I had purchased all of my gear.
A few photo's that I took from around the house this past week. A few of these were cropped pretty tight as they were a distance away.
Very nice photo. Excellent in download.
