Taken at the Columbus (OH) Zoo. The tiger enclosure is open and apparently a Canada goose thought the grass looked greener there.
The last photo is a large good looking male and is not the one that captured the goose.
TMarie ... Welcome.
That sure doesn't look like a D7100 you're holding.
Is your waterfall above in the Columbus area?
Go Bucks!
I use the Eddie Bauer mittens that fold back (I only keep one finger out) and the thumb opens. When it's cold (for me), I place the disposal hand warmers in the area on top on my fingers. The exposed finger and thumb still gets cold, but I can put them back inside for a "warm up".. I get them at Dick's - 2 in a pack for a $1.00. These help quite a bit.
I always want to say (but I don't)
"and I bet you're a great cook because of your really good pots and pans".
I think that's a common remark from people that like your work. A lot of times I just respond with "there are a lot of good cameras on the market today - you can even get some great shots with your cell phone". Smile and accept the compliment.
Been there twice. I think you would be sorry if you owned the 150-600 and didn't have it with you - Especially in Denali Comes in great for eagles and whale watching too.
Have a great trip!
I have the Nikon version and it is great. I choose it over the other brands because of it's really quick focus ability - I do birds in flight and the others didn't focus fast enough for me. Understand the other brands have good quality though.
Hi Paula
Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 - One of Nikon's better pieces of glass. The f2.8 throughout gives you the light you need and your 1/2 frame sensor makes this lens a 105-300mm.
Sorry, not cheap. Was $2,400 - probable still the same.
Close ups - yes
Still in bloom - yes
If you are lucky, there has been a white hummingbird hanging around the herb garden for the last week.
Inniswood Metro Gardens good landscapes & scenery
Www.metroparks.net for directions
Off I-270 north side of Columbus just east of I-70
Right on Sarge!!!!
By the way ..... You omitted the almost 50 shutdowns of public places and programs to inflict pain on the average American because he can't get his way. In all my years I have never seen such childish reactions by a public official - let alone a president.
Simply a cheap politician and a thug!
What a shame & disgrace.
Nikon just introduced a new camera in their series 1 line - I saw it yesterday at a trade show with a Nikon rep. It is waterproof to 50 feet and shock resistant. Will be available very shortly if that interests you and you have time to wait.
Photo Girl / I consider myself really fortunate to run across one like this in the wild.. I think it might end up in a frame.
Infocus..........Not a good idea to sell the camera!
Every day of shooting, you get a little better.
A few recent photos that I like -
