I fooled around with multiple focus point's. haven't a clue why they are all there. When using multiple points I have no idea what is in focus. Now I use one right in the center and crop out what I want!
I'm down to pretty much two lens. An 18-140 and a 55-300. Cover's the vast majority of what I do and the 55 to 140 difference let's me overlap them. I also have a 170-500 but seldom use it any more. I wonder how someone with a lot of lens decide's which one to use? If you have an 85 and a 50, which do you use? Do you use the 50 and just get closer or the 85 and back up?
Len's set at 300 and 270 and ISO 100 would seem to me that the shutter speed is gonna be to slow. Any breeze at all can move light weight stuff and make it unsharp.
It would seem to me that any strap hanging around your shoulder or neck would give the same result's. When I got my D7000, it was noticeboy heavier than my D5000 and carrying it on a shoulder/neck strap was the pit's. I finally bought a Nikon binocular harness. Removed the elastic straps on it and replaced them with 1" nylon straps. Best thing I've ever done! Where the strap connect's to the camera. I removed the factory part there and put a split ring on bothe side's that the snaps on the harness snap to. On and off really easy!
I don't care for PP but do it anyway. I would not have someone else do mine. Good part of my PP is cropping and I do tend to fool around seeing what I like best. Someone else would look for what they like best!
