These are definitely Little Blue Herons. The Little Blue is smaller and more compact with a shorter bill and legs and different bill color than the Reddish Egret. See the pictures of Reddish Egrets that I posted on the Hog on December 6, 2016. The Reddish Egret also has shaggy neck feathers.

Little Blue Heron is the only dark heron species in North America in which the juvenile is white.
