Best buy in my area is selling the above for $99. I have used Toshiba cards with good results. The above looks too good to be true. Anyone have experience with Toshiba back up drives??
A few days ago i posted these pictures in the "Peoples" section of this site. They only got 2 responses. Either they were so lousy for people to bother commenting or few view the "people" section. What do you think?
Wow, I like all three. Streets of Philly. I like the cropping as well. One point of focus
Thank you Beach Bum and Bruce. When I was younger I took time off to speak at colleges and Hasselblad seminars around the West. It seems as though UHH members would be interested in commercial photography techniques, but I'm not sure how to get it going. I've tried a few time and had no response. Frank
Maybe the UHH administrator can help, would love to learn from you
Obviously we are a bunch of old farts who remember your subjects in their youth. You have had an exceptional career and I hope we see a lot more of your work and the direction you re taking now
There seems to be a focus on scanning. What about film processing? A good lab will give you the best processing and decent scans. I have had some excellent shots ruined by CVS or Walmart.
Bill is blind in his left eye. Another "In your face Street Portrait" with a very shallow depth of field.
I have 4 hero's in my life 1. Ansel Adams Landscapes 2. Clyde Butcher Landscapes 3. Karsh of Ottawa 4. I'm not telling!
Karsh is without in my mid the most amazing portrait photographer the world has ever seen. His photographs are superb.
I am beginning to think I should a fifth photographer, ever photograph he produces is of phenomenal quality and full of artistic genius. You Palepictures are number 5. On a par with Karsh's photographs in every way! For the record go see "Portraits of Greatness" by Karsh and discover what I mean. Thank you, you made an old Englishman very happy with this incredible photograph!
Ian
Incidently, I am deaf and blind in my right eye! And my nic was Lucky mainly because of #5.

Thank you Ian. After you gave me permission to edit the photo of the Cancer victim you posted my interest in B&W really took off. I've been working on color and B&W enhancement almost non stop for a year. That being said.. what I enjoy the most is being able to capture emotion. Thank you for all your support over the last year.
I think I am more deaf than blind.(In both eyes)
