Samantha I have read some of the replies and thias has probably been mentioned and I just didnt see it. But like you a bunch of reading just confuses me so what i did was to just go kinda crazy on the buttons and dials and saw what they each did. then when the op arose i would talk to other photographers in my area when i happen to see them and had them walk me thru some of the things on the camera... also my local camera shop was very helpful when asking them questions. I still dont know everything about my camera but just like my computer i am learning something new all the time and thats half the fun.

Thank you. She was very kind and gracious to allow me to do a couple of series with her. that is just one of the pictures I took. Would love to publish the series but not sure how to go about it without spending a lot. I will let her know though that more folks have enjoyed it. she will be happy about that.

Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. My username is ultraman461 but real name is Robert and I have taken pictures all my life. Became a "Professional" about 2 years ago. I am still learning as everyone knows is a never ending process in this line of work and fun. Although I am considered a professional and have done several things that I have gotten paid for still it is not steady enough to really live on. My question is how does one make a living at this full time without spending many hours at art shows and stock photography. I am willing to travel and able too but setting up a booth at every town is rather expensive and a big gamble. All answers and comments as always welcomed. Here is one of my art pictures that has done fairly well. let me know what you think as well.
