Jerry must have pulled the wrong link. I do not see how this has anything to do with FF?
Hi Erik,
That classic lens looks beautiful on your Nikon Df!
Great example of how long a lens can last, especially if we get over all of this "automated" mechanics. Nothing to fail on this lens.
Cheers,
Chris
Glad we could help. Enjoy your new purchase! You will absolutely love your D750, I know I do. Cheers!
Hmmm, that is interesting. Well, at least Kayper will have a new shutter. I do find it interesting that a new un-actuated shutter would still show 39K actuations???
Congratulations on your purchase.
Like everyone else who loves their camera's, I love my D750. One thing I would re-state as mentioned on an earlier reply is to go to the Nikon website and check your camera's serial number for the shutter replacement.
I bought my camera in May of 2015 and at the time my camera's serial number was not apart of the the recall, then in early 2016, I received an email to check my serial number. This time I was instructed to send my body in to Nikon in LA to have the shutter replacement verified. I can tell you it was a great experience. Nikon paid for the shipping to the LA plant, they checked my camera body from top to bottom, they replaced my shutter and gave the camera a full check out, all for free. Took a total of about 10 days, and my camera came back good as new with a NEW SHUTTER!!!
So, if your body has not been sent in for the recall and your body is due the recall, your D750 will get a new shutter and a full check out. Those 39K shutter count will go back to zero with your new shutter installed by Nikon.
Good luck!
Chris
