Another fine local camera store closed. Could not compete with the big boys; Amazon and B&H.
For the money, you can't beat Steiner Marine 7x50s for around $300. from B&H. They are tough as nails, wont fog and once you set the focus, they are set for life! I have had binoculars that were priced up to $1200. that offered nothing more than these.
The D5600 does not have the number of external controls of the D7200 but they are somewhat offset by the fact that the D5600 has a nice little fully articulating touch screen as well as Blue Tooth which gives you the ability to seamlessly transfer your pictures from the D5600 to your cell phone, tablet or smart tv. These are great features that I have grown to love and would no longer want to be without!.
Do what I did and you will be very happy; sell them both and buy a D5600 which is the perfect camera unless you are a pro in which case buy a D7200.
A beautiful route, don't miss!
Cant beat the Steiner marine 7x50 for the money ($250) from B&H. Guaranteed for life, waterproof, very rugged and great in low light.
I have had a D3200, a D7000 and a D5500. By far my favorite, considering size, weight, touch screen, wi-fi etc., is the D5500 - The is no perfect camera but in my humble opinion, the perfect all-around DSLR is the D5500!
Panasonic Lumix ZS100 - the perfect compromise!
I agree that the D5500 is hard to beat. I too sold my D7000, bought the D5500 and have never looked back!
