For those who use on1 photo raw, it seems that upgrades always demand computers with even higher processing power and corresponding upgraded video cards. Does anyone experience the same things when using macbooks , or apple computers in general?

Does anyone out there have one of those Arsenal attachments for you DSLR?
Are they worth it for time lapse photos?
John
I have one of these, but find it too cumbersome to use. Almost every time I turn it on, it needs to update. Not very happy with it
Here are some of the sights that I saw when I was there. Just travel smart and dont believe any of the nay sayers. Enjoy!
I just arrived 3 weeks ago, but I did a lot more of underwater photography. My friend went all over. Since this was his first time to the Philippines, we arranged a tour covering the Northern and southern part of the Philippines. Btw, our dive tour started in puerto princesa. I can see why they call that place “the last frontier”. A lot beautiful sceny. Dont forget the underground river when your there. My friend was lucky enough to see the banaue rice terraces and the floating coffins of sagada. According to him, with all the places he visited it was a photographer’s dream. Like all places, just travel smart and don’t just wander off. Heck, there are more dangers in 42nd street in New York! Enjoy your trip
Monopods are allowed but you wont have time to “set up” as you will be continuously moving on the trail. I don’t think its really needed

I do not believe they will let tourists underwater in this ecologically sensitive place.
We were there just last june and they allowed some snorkeling which my wife did. I went on a dive tour which was all scuba dive ng
All the tour operators are very strict. If I remember right there qpuld be only be a maximum of 16 passengers in thenlittle boats that visit the islands. You would be walking on trails and are jot allowed to be on your own. My 24-300 on my nikon 750 suited nicely . Bring a waterproof bag to protect your gear as sometimes you cannot avoid the salt spray. I also went diving bit that was an entirely different set up altogether
Its open now, but you have to bookearly becuase slots are limited. I would, however, recommend the train ride from cusco and bus up to Machu Picchu instead of this grueling 5 day inca trail hike. Unless of course, you like the “punishment “
I really got “tricked” by my wife to join this “glam” hike. But there was certainly nothing glamorous about the trek.
The “prize” after the punishing 5 day hike thru the inca trail
Both of them seem to be having a good time. Don’t you think?
Thank uou dave and dannie. These are my first posts although Ive been a lurker for a few years
This was more than just a hike. Those gruelling 5 days gave me time to think and appreciate our lives today
We had some time to spend in the Galapagos islands after a grueling 5 day inca trail hike. Here are some of my pics both topside and underwater
Here is a view of the trail itself. We went thru elevations as high as 14000 feet
